The other day I took Jackie the Golden Retriever to Hollys Coffee located at Cineleisure, Damansara. (located next to McDonalds)
Now, Hollys Coffee is a Korean coffee joint and they are pet-friendly. The manager (korean girl), the owner (korean guy) and the owner’s wife all met Jackie before and they fell in love with him. Well, who can blame them for Jackie’s innocent and good looking face! What’s more after I have shown them the tricks that Jackie could do (must have treats for that), they were amazed at his ability and fell deeper in love with him!
Anyway, they gave me words that I can bring my dogs to Hollys Coffee anytime I want and I should tell my friends too! So, after the photo-shoot session (yes, our Jackie is the main man in the photo-shot session) with the manager and owners, we finally able to sit down to enjoy our cuppa of java.

Now, this is a new place where you can bring your beloved dogs/cats. The coffee there is of good quality stuff and it is reasonably priced (translation: cheaper than Starbucks). Unfortunately, its ONLY a coffee house and there’s nothing much to eat (besides the cakes and cookies). Fret not, they are opening a new Hollys Restaurant in Sri Hatamas (or Mont Kiara) area soon and they told me that new place is pet-friendly as well!
So spread the words and bring your pets to Hollys Cafe at Cineleisure!

I am not sure, but I am guessing that it’s both. I am a dog person so naturally its dog-oriented. But I love coffee and I cannot survive without a daily dose of caffeine injection into my blood stream, so its also cafe-oriented. Oh you should meet Jackie as I am sure you will fall in love with him also. You should go Hollys as the environment is actually quite good!

will get a chance. since it’s in damansara, normally i will travel so far only coz of special events or to meet someone special.. i’m very lazy in driving.. but u have recommended me few nice places recently.. thanks for not viewing me as someone that is not eligible to eat most of the food

bluesky - Jackie is 2 years and 10 months now, and he’ll be turning 3 years old this August! We might throw him a birthday party or something. And he is gorgeous!
haan - Wah lau eh! You said until like going to Damansara is like going outstation like that. It’s not that bad lah! By the way, “meet someone special”? How special that person must be for you to travel all the way to Damansara?
I don’t see you as not eligible to eat most of the food. I know you like to eat, so that’s why I dare to recommend.
I believe all dogs have a good temperament, just gotta bring the best out of him, which makes it great…

may88_98 - that’s partially true, but if you deal with dogs long enough, you will understand that sometimes its very difficult to bring out the best of them. But most of them are just so damn lovely!
al’sera - Hey bro, try to smuggle Cobie in! If you want more info, let me know k? I think its good if you bring Cobie here with you cos you are spending like 95% of your time in Malaysia, so might as well. Besides, your apartment do allow pets, so that’s an additional plus point!
i grew up with dogs in my family.. =] ever since i was born, and i’m a volunteer for spca too… yay! haha…
That’s great! Same as me, I grew up with dogs since I was like 2 years old, and my dad got me a GIANT breed! You were a volunteer for SPCA? So did you know Christine? Or how about did you volunteer at Ikano during the weekend when SPCA participated just not long ago?
i did volunteer for the first two weeks, i didn’t go during the third week cos i went back to my hometown..

I bet you met him before. He was the goldie without a leash and he just follows me, and sometimes sitting there for the kids to pat him. Basically when he walked into that area he became the center of all attention!
Oh… that’s him!!! he’s gorgeous..!!!!! I didn’t really pet him cos i was busy with the other animals… =[

Well, that’s normal. Most people would remember him and tend to ignore me. I am used to that kind of treatment. I do remember some girls at the event, but I don’t know her name. All I know is that she was holding the donation box and she was wearing a Frank Muller watch. Do you happen to know who is that?
