In The Star newspaper today, Dharmender Singh wrote about a VIP Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo rode a bike to cast his vote in Easy-riding VIP Voter.
Notice anything wrong with the picture below?

Hello? Where is the helmet? Both Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo and his wife broke the law in public and caught in picture and shown in National newspaper. I mean, Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo, as the Mentri Besar of Selangor, should know better about the law that all motorcycle rider and passenger must put on a safety helmet. But in the picture, he and his wife were not wearing the helmet, and worse of all, I can’t find a helmet anywhere in the picture.
Why? Is he afraid that if he wears a helmet no one will recognize him? Is he afraid that the helmet would mess up his hairstyle? Or is he afraid that the helmet can’t fit his head? As a politician and the Mentri Besar of Selangor, he should know better to wear a helmet. How about setting up as a good example to the citizens, especially to those in kampung-kampung (small village) area that wearing a helmet is a must, and even a VIP is not excluded from this law?
So is the police going to take any action against Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo? I mean, come on! Here is the evidence you need!
I don’t think so.
