I just received an email from a friend telling everyone that when we send our desktop/pc/laptop for service, we better make sure there’s no sensitive files inside the harddisk.
Now, isn’t that a common sense?
Again, there’s no picture here. I am not going to distribute pornographic on my blog. If you are so interested in these pictures, google them. I have received emails of those pictures, but don’t bother to find it here.
Apparently, the news is that Edison Chen sent his pc for servicing, and the technicians downloaded more than 1000 pieces of the intimate pictures (I wrote about it here) and created the big scene for “Gillian, Edison, Cecilia Cheung and Bobo sex pictures” and Yahoo published the story here.
I don’t mean to be rude, but securing all the sensitive file is a common sense. Even though I don’t have any naked pictures of mine or my ex’s in my laptop, I secure the work-related files, such as quotations, price, letters, emails, and everything else on a portable harddisk before I send my laptop for servicing. Why? The reason is simple: how can you truly trust the technicians with these sensitive information? They might take these information and sell it to my competitors.
So to all my readers, please use your brain once in a while. There is nothing wrong to take those intimate pictures with your love ones, but it is plain stupid to save those pictures in your phone or even your pc/desktop/laptop. If you decide to take these pictures, make sure you secure them, and guard them with whatever you can. There had been many instances where young girls were traumatized because their phones were stolen and the next thing they know was that the internet was filled with their naked pictures.
Anyway, other updates are that I will be off during this Chinese New Year. I don’t have internet connection back at hometown (actually, my laptop doesn’t have dialup modem and we do not subscribe to DSL services back at home) so I won’t be able to post anything nor reply an comments. The other day I went to the groomer place and I met with a very hot “angmoh” girl. She’s young, tall, pretty and just so damn fine. We talked about many things, but mainly about our dogs because she has a Shih Tzu and I was with Fluffy, my 3 years old Shih Tzu. So we were sharing our experiences and stuff. We talked for hours. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get to know her name and I forgot to take her number. Damn! All I know is her dog’s name.
